Welcome Message from the Rector

My name is Leonard Ruddock and I am the Rector of Blessington Union of Parishes.

I am delighted to welcome you to the Blessington Union of Parishes website.

We are members of the Church of Ireland and are in the united Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough.

We are very fortunate to live in West Wicklow which is a beautiful part of Ireland. Wicklow is known as ‘the garden of Ireland’. In Blessington we are surrounded by stunning Mountains and Lakes.

We are aware of the rich Christian heritage that we have, but we also live in the present. We strive to make our churches places where there is a warm welcome and where people can experience the risen Christ for themselves.

We look forward to welcoming you to our parish.
